Showcase-evaluations for position players include:
- Running speed (timed 60-yd dash)
- Arm strength (radar gun velocity)
- Hitting mechanics
- Hitting for power
- Defensive skills
- Catching skills (when applicable)
Showcase-evaluations for pitchers include:
- Pitching mechanics
- Ball movement
- Command of pitches
- Pitch selection
- Arm angle / slot
- Arm strength (radar gun velocity)
Player stats are posted online within 14 days of a showcase tryout. To learn more about MVP's innovative, proprietary online stats and national ranking system, click here. |
