MVP tryout evaluations assess a player’s skills and abilities. Player stats are posted online within 14 days of the tryout evaluation, resulting in a player’s national ranking based
on grade level and position. This innovative process, developed by MVP Baseball, provides an accurate and unbiased standard for college coaches and pro scouts to compare players on a local and national
level. This information also helps players and parents to get a realistic overview of where players stand in comparison to their peers.
Stats run from August 1st to July 31st each year and are based on your grade category at the time of tryout. The accumulated score is at the end of the stat column. This stat represents your
total tool rating, not how well you play.
